Why This Committee Exists

Citizens for Ethical Leadership in the Central Valley is an independent community organization dedicated to one goal: ensuring that the people of the San Joaquin Valley are represented with honesty and transparency.

For too long, political insiders have prioritized Sacramento power plays over the local needs of Manteca, Lodi, and the surrounding communities. We believe that leadership is a privilege, not a career path for personal gain. Our committee provides non-partisan oversight and accountability for elected officials, starting with Assemblyman Heath Flora.

We aren't a political party. We are your neighbors—farmers, small business owners, and families—who believe that ethical leadership isn't a luxury; it’s a requirement.

Sacramento’s Favorite Puppet

Heath Flora doesn't just represent the 9th District—he represents the 'Third House.' While families in the Central Valley struggle with rising costs, Flora has been busy using his campaign accounts as a personal slush fund to maintain a lifestyle far removed from the people he serves. By trading political favors for personal gain, he has become the go-to vote for special interest lobbyists who know he is more interested in his own advancement than our community's future.

A Pattern of Neglect

We believe that how a leader treats their own family is a direct reflection of how they will treat their constituents. When an elected official ignores court orders for child support, engages in serial infidelity, and uses campaign contributions to fund a personal lifestyle, they lose the moral authority to lead. Citizens for Ethical Leadership in the Central Valley was formed to shine a light on this pattern of behavior. We are committed to showing the 9th District that we deserve better than a 'puppet' for Sacramento lobbyists who lacks the integrity to manage his own affairs.

Objectives

Exposing the "Slush Fund": Monitoring and reporting on the misuse of campaign funds for personal travel, dining, and non-campaign expenses.

Family Values Accountability: Holding Flora accountable to the standards of personal responsibility he preaches, specifically regarding his history of unpaid child support and personal conduct.

Truth in Representation: Ensuring the 9th District has a representative whose private actions and public record align with the integrity of our community.
